Wing Tips

Wing Tips was a newspaper published by the students and staff of the Department of Air Science and Tactics for the Brown Air Force ROTC unit, beginning in March 1952. It continued to appear as a monthly periodical in 1953. The April Fool’s Day issue of the Brown Daily Herald in 1953 appeared with the format of Wing Tips, and an oversized heading, “New England AFROTC units will be activated on 30th of month.”
